This is Episode number 22. Today we are discussing the murder of Jeanne Clery. She was a 19year old freshman at Lehigh University located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania who was brutally raped and murdered in her college dorm in the spring of 1986. Her murder would spark a campaign that would take a hard look at campus safety and security. This campaign would eventually sling shot the Clery Act which requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information about crime on and near their respective campuses.
