Here's the thing. Today is the calm before a very big storm, you're stepping out into 62 degrees under gray skies. It feels mild, almost spring-like, but don't get used to it. A powerful system is gathering strength to our west. And it's dragging a cold front straight for us.
As the sun sets. Sunday turns windy and warm, highs range from 73 to 78 degrees statewide. That warmth comes at a cost. A Wind Advisory is in effect from 11 A.M. Sunday to 8 A.M. Monday. South winds will gust 40 to 50 miles an hour, while that's strong enough to snap tree limbs. Secure your trash cans and patio furniture tonight.
