Social Media in the last few years has been full of conversations regarding deconstruction. Many people are talking about it from many different angles. Conversations about deconstruction seem to be ubiquitous. There are so many articles, so many social media links, and so many sermon series, dedicated to critiquing existing theological traditions, church platforms, or Christian public figures. It's not a new word or idea by any means, but it sure feels like "deconstruction" is the new, trendy word in Christian circles today. You have certain people who like things the way they are and who see deconstruction as either threatening or others with demo tools in hand that see it as a modern reformation.
