JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E8 - “MOVE FORWARD LIGHT”
JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E8 - “MOVE FORWARD LIGHT” What are you carrying, and why are you carrying it? In this episode of the Just A Moment Podcast™, Shawn N. Graham reflects on what it means to move forward light. After a season of resetting, resting, reflecting, realigning, and clearing the clutter, another question remains: What am I taking with me on this journey, and why? Moving forward light does not mean pretending life has no weight. It means recognizing what belongs on the journey, what needs to be surrendered, and what we may be carrying that God never asked us to carry. Through Scripture, prayer, poetry, current events, and personal reflection, Shawn challenges us to examine the fear, guilt, resentment, pressure, pride, expectations, and attachments that can weigh down our hearts, minds, spirits, and lives. 📖 SCRIPTURE Hebrews 12:2 KJV “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” 💭 IN THIS MOMENT DETACHMENT The action of detaching; separation. ✨ REFLECT ON THIS What are you carrying in this season, and why? What should you put down? What should you pick up? What would moving forward light look like for you? ✨ MOVE FORWARD LIGHT Carry the memory without carrying the guilt. Carry the boundary without carrying the bitterness. Carry the lessons without carrying the resentment. Carry the testimony without carrying the trial as your identity. 📚 FROM BE INSPIRED AGAIN Poems, Prose, Praise and Prayers Featured reflections: “What Is Life?” “In a Moment of Time” Take the wisdom. JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E7 - “RESET: CLEARING THE CLUTTER”
JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E7 - “RESET: CLEARING THE CLUTTER” Sometimes resetting your life is not about adding something new. Sometimes it means clearing what no longer belongs. In this episode of the Just A Moment Podcast™, Shawn N. Graham reflects on the mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, relational, digital, and identity clutter that can quietly weigh us down. Clutter is not always something we can see. It can be an overcrowded mind, unresolved hurt, unhealthy expectations, unnecessary obligations, distracting notifications, or an outdated version of ourselves. The question is simple: Does this still belong? Clearing the clutter can create room for clarity, peace, purpose, healthier relationships, creativity, rest, and a greater awareness of God’s presence. Start with one space. One decision. One release. 📖 SCRIPTURE Hebrews 12:1 KJV “Let us lay aside every weight…” 💭 IN THIS MOMENT DISARRAY A lack of array or regular order; disorder; confusion. Array = Order ✨ THE SEVEN CLUTTERS Mental Emotional Spiritual Physical Relational Digital Clutter From Who You Used to Be ✨ REFLECT ON THIS What is occupying space in your life that no longer deserves it? JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E5 - "RESETTING YOUR YES"
RESETTING YOUR YES Season 6, Episode 5 | Summer Reset Sometimes the most important yes you give will require you to say no. In this episode of the Just A Moment Podcast™, Shawn N. Graham reflects on what it means to reset your yes through prayer, discernment, boundaries, resilience, and surrender. Sometimes your deeper yes to God means saying no to something that no longer aligns with His direction for your life. Through Scripture and personal reflection, Shawn explores the cost of every yes, the purpose of healthy boundaries, and the importance of recognizing when something needs your commitment, your refusal, or simply more time in prayer. Resetting your yes may look different in every season. The question is whether your yes is still aligned with God. 📖 SCRIPTURE Matthew 5:37 Romans 12:2 Luke 22:42 King James Version 💭 IN THIS MOMENT Resilience The ability to adjust, recover, and continue through challenge or change. ✨ REFLECT ON THIS What deserves your yes in this season? What may require your no? Are you carrying something simply because you can, or because you are truly called to carry it? JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E4 - “THE MOST IMPORTANT RESET”
What is the most important reset we can make? In this episode, Shawn N. Graham reflects on the decision to place God first and live in total surrender to Him. We may focus on resetting our schedules, habits, relationships, finances, or surroundings, but lasting transformation must begin within the heart. Using Matthew 6:33–34 KJV as the scriptural foundation, Shawn reminds us that God does not want to be present only in our emergencies. He desires to be Lord over our everyday lives, including our thoughts, decisions, relationships, responsibilities, boundaries, plans, and purpose. Putting God first means seeking His direction before making the decision, not only asking Him to repair the consequences afterward. It means trusting His timing, releasing what He has not assigned to us, and allowing Him to renew, restore, reorder, and redirect our lives. This is not an invitation to live in shame. It is an invitation to return. The most important reset is not about becoming perfect overnight. It is the daily decision to place our lives back into the hands of God. PAUSE AND REFLECT Have you truly placed God first, or have you reserved Him for moments of emergency? What part of your life have you struggled to surrender completely? What burden, relationship, expectation, or personal timeline is God inviting you to release? What would total surrender to God look like in your everyday life? 📺 WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE https://youtu.be/PyDLvPlXBmI 🙏🏾 JUST A MOMENT IN PRAYER Saturday, August 22, 2026 8:00 PM ET | Live on Zoom Bring your faith and a friend. JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E3 - “REST AND RESET; RESET AND REST”
Before the reset, there must be rest. In this episode, Shawn N. Graham reflects on the relationship between rest, renewal, release, and transformation. We often believe change begins by doing more, but sometimes God invites us to slow down, quiet the noise, and allow Him to restore us first. Using 1 Kings 19:11–12 KJV as the scriptural foundation, Shawn reminds us that God’s direction is not always revealed through the loudest or most dramatic moments. Sometimes, His voice becomes clearest when we become still enough to listen. Rest is not a reward for completing the work. It is preparation for the work ahead. When we rest in God’s presence, we can make decisions from clarity instead of exhaustion, establish boundaries from wisdom instead of burnout, and discern what should be renewed, released, or realigned. The reset is not about loss. It is about alignment. PAUSE AND REFLECT Where are you operating from exhaustion instead of renewal? What are you trying to fix before allowing God to restore you? What noise do you need to quiet so you can hear God’s voice more clearly? What have you been carrying that God never asked you to carry? What boundary, habit, or burden is God inviting you to release? 📺 WATCH THIS EPISODE ON YOUTUBE https://youtu.be/aOgIJ1uZj1g 🙏🏾 JUST A MOMENT IN PRAYER Saturday, August 22, 2026 8:00 PM ET | Live on Zoom Bring your faith and a friend. 📚 AVAILABLE NOW 📖 Be Inspired Again by Shawn N. JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E2 - "Reset: Choose to Move"
Sometimes the path does not become clear until we start walking. In “Reset: Choose to Move,” Shawn N. Graham explores the difference between patiently preparing and remaining stuck under the appearance of preparation. Rooted in Psalm 51:10, this reflection invites us to examine what we have postponed and identify what needs to be released, reorganized, repaired, or restarted. This episode is a reminder that there may never be a perfect time to begin. Sometimes, the reset begins when we decide that staying the same is no longer acceptable. JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E1 - “Welcome to the Summer Reset”
Tomorrow is something we plan for—but today is what we have been given. In the Season 6 premiere of Just A Moment Podcast, Shawn N. Graham welcomes us into the Summer Reset: a season of honest reflection, spiritual renewal, gratitude, and intentional growth. What have you continued to postpone? Is it a necessary conversation, an apology, a healthier boundary, a return to prayer, or a decision to use the gifts God placed in your hands? Through Romans 12:2, Shawn examines what it means to renew the mind and reset the way we think, speak, respond, love, forgive, and show up for our lives. She also introduces In This Moment, a new weekly segment beginning with the word “reset.” In this episode: • Why procrastination quietly steals the moments we have been given • The difference between saying “thank you” and living thankfully • How our attitude reflects our gratitude • Why an honest reset begins with acknowledgment • Areas that may need resetting—including faith, relationships, priorities, communication, discipline, and self-talk • Why beginning again does not require having every answer • How another moment represents grace—not merely more time Scripture: Romans 12:2, KJV “You have another moment. You have another opportunity. You have another chance to choose love, humility, forgiveness, discipline, gratitude, and growth.” Do not wait until the moment has passed to appreciate what it was offering you. Reset while you still have the opportunity to do so. JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E9 - “WHY ARE WE HERE?”
JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S6E9 - “WHY ARE WE HERE?” What happens if you get everything you have been chasing and discover that none of it answers why you are here? In Season 6, Episode 9 of the Just A Moment Podcast, Shawn N. Graham explores one of humanity’s oldest questions: Why are we here? We are taught to achieve, accumulate, advance, earn more, become more, and prove that we have made it. There is nothing inherently wrong with money, ambition, success, influence, or recognition. But when the things created to serve our lives become the reason for our lives, it may be time to reconsider what sits at the center. This week’s In This Moment Word of the Week is PURPOSE: the reason something exists, the function it is intended to serve, or the end toward which it is directed. Before achievement, résumé, income, followers, titles, or applause, God knew you. 📖 SCRIPTURE | KJV Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Psalm 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Shawn reflects on the false finish line of comparison, the difference between achievement and identity, money as a resource rather than a source of meaning, returning to the Creator for direction, and the difference between provision and purpose. “If comparison is the scoreboard, the game has no finish line.” Purpose can survive obscurity. It can survive retirement, job changes, title changes, failure, and seasons when nobody is clapping. The episode leaves us with several questions: What currently sits at the center of your life? If you achieved what you are chasing, what would you expect it to give you? Can it actually give you what you are asking it to give? What would success look like if nobody else ever saw it? For what purpose were you created? Maybe purpose is not only about what we can get out of life. Maybe the deeper question is: What is your life supposed to give? 🎙️ Hosted by Shawn N. Season 5
JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S5E10 - “Reflect and Move Forward”
JUST A MOMENT PODCAST | S5E10 - “Reflect and Move Forward” 🎙️ ABOUT THIS EPISODE In this reflective Season 5 finale of the Just A Moment Podcast, Shawn N. Graham closes the Spring Resurrection journey with a reminder to pause, reflect, give thanks, and move forward with purpose. Anchored in Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV, this episode reflects on seasons, timing, memory, gratitude, patience, and the lessons that helped shape Season 5. As spring gives way to summer, Shawn reminds us that every season has something to teach us, and sometimes the calendar says one thing while life and the spirit need a little more time to reflect. This finale looks back on the Spring Resurrection journey, including reminders to keep growing through life’s difficult places, protect your peace, receive correction with a teachable spirit, understand that love sometimes has to say no, and embrace the moments while they are still here. Shawn also reflects on Juneteenth, Father’s Day, family, grief, gratitude, and the personal moments that remind us that every moment does not have to be polished to be purposeful. Resurrection is not always loud. Sometimes resurrection sounds like “I’m sorry.” Sometimes it sounds like “I need to rest.” Sometimes it sounds like “No, not this time.” Sometimes it sounds like “Thank you for telling me.” Sometimes it sounds like “I’m still learning.” And sometimes resurrection is simply the quiet decision to keep going. As Season 5 closes, this episode invites us to carry the work of resurrection forward. The seeds that were planted still need care. The lessons we learned still need application. The growth we experienced still needs protection. The peace we found still needs stewardship. The wisdom we gained still needs to be lived. Be present. Be grateful. Be loving. Be forgiving. Be intentional. Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/qua4NW6-GQ0 Hey… Just A Moment.
