Steven Spielberg returned to the directors’ chair for the highly anticipated sequel to Jurassic Park; 'The Lost World'. Released in 1997 to mixed reviews, the film upped the adventure, tension and amazing work from Stan Winston, as well as ILM.
The first two Jurassic films are, still to this day, my favourites of the bunch (barring 'The Lost World's' clunky third act). The work from Spielberg is, as usual, flawless, the dynamic between the films leads are great fun, and though the film makes some big changes from the novel, it still also honours the source material; making 'The Lost World' the best sequel of the saga.
