The Creator

Gareth Edwards returns to the directors chair for 'The Creator' pitting humanity against A.I. in this sci-fi blockbuster. Edwards' previous work has catapulted him to being one of my all-time favourite directors, and so I was excited to see what promised to be a visually stunning piece of cinema. I certainly didn’t come away disappointed on that front, however, the film dipped with the lack of emotional connection I had with the characters, and their stories within. Though the film is impressive and is jaw dropping to look at, it sadly fell short on certain aspects. Perhaps this will age like fine wine and become a future classic – certainly has the potential!
