A Haunting in Venice

Episode notes
Hercule Poirot returns in this latest adaptation of Agatha Christie’s work. Loosely based on the 1969 novel ‘Hallowe'en Party’; ‘A Haunting in Venice’ brings ghosts and ghouls into the frame, leading Poirot to question just what exactly is real and what is not. Kenneth Branagh is doing a terrific job with the character, and I’ve enjoyed all three releases so far. However, the suspense and gothic backdrop that this latest flick has, is certainly what caught my attention and felt like a much needed shakeup for the film series.
