2025 Moto GP and JKMoto Podcast Wrapped Up
Moto GP 2025 is officially closed welcoming with it the beginning of the next season, and the last season of 1000cc bike on the MotoGP Grid!! Valencia left us feeling a little weird as we saw maybe some of the strangest things we've seen yet this year! From Franco Morbidelli wrecking it on the starting grid, to Pecco Bagnaia not finishing the race again this weekend seemed to have it all!! Luckily that still meant plenty of great racing from some of our top riders this year including, Marco Bezzecchi, Alex Marquez, Pedro Acosta, and Raul Fernandez? That's right even the satellite Aprilia rider showed some amazing strength leaving 2025, so much that we're wondering what the Italian factory might be able to do next year with the solid rider line up they have! As we close out Motorcycle racing for the year and enter the cold downtime we also wrap up JKMoto Podcast for the last time, covering our recent trip out to MSRH with Josh Bittinger and some plans for our racing future! JKMoto Podcast isn't necessarily disappearing, but we won't be hosting the regular show anymore. Expect to see us from time to time hopefully with some great guests and as always Great Entertainment!! Thanks to everyone that has supported over the years!
A "Nail" Biter in Malaysia
1st of the final three rounds of Moto GP 2025 is over and we're here to report on it!! Ducati seems like maybe they've figured something out for their top Italian rider, or is it just another round of what we saw in Motegi? Unfortunately Bagnaia's extremely impressive weekend ended early on Sunday, after watching him claw through Q1 top Q2 and hold a perfect sprint position and speed, his winning and even finishing hopes were cut short when he had a puncture appear in his rear tire about halfway through the race. Sadly this also means that Bezzecchi was able to steal 3rd in the championship back from him, we'll see who ends up holding it at the end of the season! Alex Marquez had a great weekend, finishing 2nd on Saturday meant officially securing 2nd place in the 2025 championship, and following that up on Sunday with a win just to prove he could, brought home the best satellite team prize for his team Gresini!! Beyond that we got to see another wonderful performance from our used to be KTM rookie Acosta! Only two rounds left to enjoy of this wonderful MotoGP season!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
Aprilia Dominance Down Under
As MotoGP 2025 travels to the bottom of the world, we were met with a thrill filled weekend of motorcycle racing! Saturday found the latest star rider of 2025 Marco Bezzecchi securing a sprint win, further helping him solidify his place in the top 3 of the 2025 riders championship!! On Sunday however Bez was unable to keep up after serving a double long lap penalty but still managed to finish on the podium! With the top Aprilia of the top spot, who would take his place? Securing two first's this weekend Raul Fernandez found himself crossing the finish line ahead of the rest on Sunday and brought home the victory, first for himself and first for the Trackhouse team!!! With the world champion out for most likely the rest of the season, and the factory Ducati not performing it seems as if the standings for this year are just about all tied up! Only the future will tell whether or not Pecco Bagnaia will continue to lower positions and surrender 4th position to the shark, Acosta! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
Victory for the Rookie While the Champ is Crashed Out
An absolutely wild weekend of racing was held in Indonesia as Round 18 of MotoGP 2025 took off!! They always say anything can happen in MotoGP (or in motorcycle racing in general) and this weekend was no different! As always JKMotoPodcast had to cover the Marc Marquez news, and sadly for the 4th year in a row MM93 was unable to bring a bike home over the finish line in Mandalika! But despite the wreck held between him and Marco Bezzecchi on Sunday, neither of those riders failed to deliver remarkably fun to watch riding on Saturday during the Tissot Sprint!!! Bezz especially as a mistake off the line found him quite a way back in the pack, clawed his way to victory barley squeezing by the rookie during the last lap which he started more than half a second down!! Follow Saturday's sprint up with one of the most exciting MotoGP races in a long time on Sunday, despite the rookie Aldeguer running away at the front and never stopping, after the Marc Bezz crash we saw almost every rider on the grid seem to end up in P2 at some point and take their shot at holding it! But in the end Pedro Acosta was the "victorious" one able to grab P2 back before the finish line and secure a spot on the podium!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
Marc Marquez Completes the Greatest Comeback in MotoGP History
Moto GP Returns to the Motegi Circuit Japan for another wonderful round of World Motorcycle Racing!! Big news and bigger news, all wrapped up in one extremely confusing and surprising weekend! On the front row we saw a Ducati take off from 1st place, but not the one you would expect. Pecco Bagnaia with a massive swing in his riding results, most likely stemming from Ducati essentially giving him a 2024 back, filled out quite the resume qualifying 1st and pulling a win out of the sprint and the race!!! In second on the grid we found a Honda, also maybe not the one you'd expect as Joan Mir was able to not only qualify but also bring home a top 5 in the sprint and a podium finish during the race!! Finally it is time to talk about the most important news, Marc Marquez has once again secured his place on the top of the stage, and added his name to the tower of champions!!! From 2019 to 2025 6 years the legend has returned, and the race and sprint were both well worth watching!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
KTM Destruction on Italian Soil
We're sorry about missing Round 15 of MotoGP due to some technical difficulties, but we are absolutely back for Round 16 in Misano home to many of our riders on the grid!! What an intense and busy weekend all around the paddock, from chains flying off, to aero not staying put, to a most likely returning world champion wrecking out of the lead, this weekend felt like it carried it all!! Just as we kept giving credit where it was due to the Austrian manufacturer, all seemed lost this weekend as each bike seemed to throw a chain at some point, causing their top rider to not finish the race on Sunday after fighting some intense battles!! Adding to the commotion of the weekend the illustrious Marc Marquez squeezed right around Marco Bezzecchi and then almost immediately dumped his bike to crash out of the sprint, although he was able to keep it up on Sunday and paired with the Italian on the Aprilia RS GP we were given quite an amazing race for the entire 27 laps!!! Maybe the saddest part of the weekend though was our former world champion Pecco Bagnaia wrecking out of the race after a pore performance on Saturday showing us once again that he just doesn't have what it takes to ride with the top this season!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
Marini Brings Home a Double Top 5 While Mir Suffers on Sunday
Round 14 of MotoGP 2025 finds us in Hungary for the first time since 1992!! What a track, and what a drama filled weekend! The Balaton Circuit left us satisfied with the talent of our current MotoGP grid for sure, as they proved once again why they race at the top of the world, with every rider setting a faster lap time than the top lap time from the previous WSBK round in Hungary!! With that being said, we were far from satisfied with our anxious outlook for the upcoming rounds of MotoGP! Jorge Martin seems to be figuring out his Aprilia as he found himself with a 4th place finish on Sunday, edging ever closer to his teammate Bezzecchi who seems to be the only person worthy of riding anywhere near Marc Marquez. Once again we were surprised this weekend though when Pedro Acosta gave Bezz a run for his money and ended up squeezing out a podium finish on Sunday after several big wrecks throughout the weekend!! Beyond KTM and Aprilia surprises the final and maybe biggest surprise was the performance of our two factory Honda riders who both finished in the top 10 for the sprint and one of which secured a top five both Saturday and Sunday! Will Honda be around to stay for the rest of the season? Has KTM finally found a bike combo that Acosta can ride? Will Bezz and Martin both be battling for podiums next to MM93 for the remainder of the season? And where are Pecco and Alex after their impressive runs in the beginning of the season? All these questions and more discussed this week and hopefully answered soon!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
Redbull Ring Finally Brings Victory for the Baby Alien
After a long and sad summer break MotoGP 2025 is back!!! Back in Austria for the infamous Red Bull Ring that has seen many intense battles over the years!! This year is a little different where as the main contender this year is also on the red bike that seems to do so well here year after year. Can the baby alien pull Pecco Bagnaia from his Red Bull Ring throne and claim a victory he's never seen before? Beyond the obvious fight between the two men in red, we can't forget our orange bikes that are at their manufacturers home track this weekend!! Pedro Acosta felt like he finally started working well with the KTM again, and this was no le3ss apparent here this weekend for round 13!! Binder also seemed to find some footing finally, however not enough to be fighting for a podium. Finally we'll discuss the other biggest player this weekend and quickly becoming every weekend. Marco Bezzeecchi, maybe the only man in 2025 that can show Marc any sort of opposition. Can he actually show him that though? Or is Marc just playing with everyone and making sure he runs an absolutely perfect season from here on out? https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
KTM Officially Figure it Out!! Or did they?
With a KTM 1,2 in the sprint held by Acosta and Bastianini, it was starting to feel as if KTM had in fact "figure it out" but sadly on Sunday we did not get to see a repeat as the tire whisperer himself slid out of the standings and into the gravel!! From the Czech Republic we bring you Round 12 of MotoGP, the last round before our long 5 week summer break sadly!! Ducati seems to still have things on lock, at least their top rider does, the team seems to still struggle a little with tire pressure management, but lucky for them the two factory riders seem to have that strategy on lock as well!! Another round down and another 37 points to Marc Marquez stacking up an impressive lead well over 100 points in the 2025 championship! Outside of the Factory team Ducati did seem to have some struggles with all their riders landing outside the top 10 for both the sprint and the race!! Is this just due to a new track for many of our riders, or are we starting to see what the 2nd half of 2025 is going to look like? This week we also saw the impressive return of Jorge Martin who despite his extremely low amount of time on the bike seems to already be meshing decently!! Very anxiously we await the return of MotoGP in 4 weeks after the break!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
Turn 1 at the Sachsenring Strikes Back
We come to you for Episode 110 from Germany!! Well MotoGP was in Germany, we're still hanging out in the famous Stable "B" but we are here to cover an extremely exciting and drama filled weekend of racing at the Sachsenring!! From the king regaining his title, to Turn 1 biting half the field, this weekend seemed to have it all!!! We entered the weekend with several riders out with injuries, and an anxious Marc Marquez waiting to see if he can once again conquer this iconic racing track! Throughout the sprint on Saturday, we found a very wet racetrack which evened the playing field leaving us with some "underdogs" finding their way towards the front of the grid. Bezzecchi seems to be finding the rhythm with his Aprilia more and more each weekend and was there to give Marc the fight for the entire sprint. for the rest of the details and our thoughts on them you'll have to enjoy the entire episode!!! https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9
