Dream journal- my journal was originally made for a class I’m taking on Love & Dream. The cover is a collage of everything I dream of: kundalini power, pleasure, rage and radical liberation; it reminds me of the world I’m trying to build in the work I do. As my dreams grow/ evolve, so will the cover. Evil eye + Chakra bracelets- I bought the red evil eye bracelet from a family tabling the Union Square Market in NYC. The chakra bracelet was given to me by my mom on my 16th birthday. I wear both to keep me balanced and grounded, and to remind me of the love and protection the universe has given me. Silk Scarf- I got this silk scarf while visiting Venice last year. At the time, the symptoms of my PCOS were getting worse and I had begun losing a lot of hair. I was stressing and wanted to get something to help protect my hair as I got treated, so when I stumbled across this small hidden scarf shop I was instantly drawn in. I love it’s colors and softness:, things that brought be comfort during a time when I felt super disconnected from my body. Lipgloss- this is one of my absolute favorite lipglosses! I usually pair it with a dark brown liner and blend it out to add some umph, but that gloss always keeps my lips soft, shiny and cute. Lighter- one of my essentials, I stole this lighter from my roommate cause I just thought it was the prettiest thing. Whether its for lighting candles or burning sage, I always got a lighter on me. Tote bag- a souvenir from Amsterdam <3 never got to go to the Van Gogh museum, but still got the tote lmao. Lotion- i loveeeeeee this lotion cause it makes me smell delicious! The smell of coconut and coffee reminds me of early Sunday mornings growing up, as my dad made Trini style coco cafe. Glasses- got these from a pop up shop in Amsterdam that allowed us to thrift by the kilo! I wore these all the time to the clubs and just loved the trippy vibe they give off. Shiva linga- as a devotee of shiva, the lingam is an important object within my spiritual practices. The Lingam is seen as a symbol of the energy and potential of the universe and is represented alongside the yoni, a symbol of Shakti, the female creative energy. The shiva linga helps me feel empowered within the spectrum of energies that flow within me. It also teaches me to honor myself. Mala beads- I was given the mala by one of my best friends. There are 108 beads that are used as a guide while repeating mantras during meditation. The weight and smoothness of them help me feel calm. Bee Purse: I thrifted this purse! I just rlly love bees lol. Crocs/ jibbets- I recently got crocs and they’re so fun! I was gifted these jibbits over the holidays and have slowly been collecting more. The newest addition is the honey bear :) Pins- I got these pins while I was at the National Women’s Studies Association conference this year. Their creator, Gigi, is one of the sweetest humans ever. I wear these pins to show people what I’m about
