Here's the split today. Western Iowa gets mostly sunny skies and a high near 56 with breezy northeast winds around 11 miles an hour. Central Iowa? You're the warm spot — 68 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Eastern Iowa hits 62, but storms fire up after 4 P.M.
