Good morning. Iowa. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside and you'll feel like you're walking on a movie set. The entire state is wrapped in thick fog this morning. Visibility has dropped to a quarter mile or less across northern Iowa, where a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 A.M. With temperatures sitting right at the freezing mark, watch for a few slick patches on the roads. We're currently at 39 degrees under those low clouds. In the next 24 hours. Western Iowa wins the warmth prize today. You'll hit 55 degrees with that patchy fog burning off by mid-morning. Tonight stays dry with a low around 34. Central Iowa remains gray and cloudy with a high near 51. Drizzle develops after 8 P.M. and lingers overnight. Low around 41. Eastern Iowa starts with fog, then stays mostly cloudy. High near 52.
