It's that time of year again! This episode, students ask Grade 4 students to guess Christmas movies based on a blurb. Grade 5 students interview our very own Señora Gomez. Producers ask Cycle 1 students about their favourite Christmas foods. Grade 6 shares their New Year's Resolutions.

Halloween - October 2021

In this episode of the Vision Varennes podcast, students discuss the terrifying aspects of cyber bullying, as well as how to react to a cyber bully if you are a victim. Students discuss Orange Shirt Day and what it meant to go to a residential school. Grade 6 students created short horror audiobooks for our bloodcurdling enjoyment.

Graduating 6th Graders - June 2021

In this month's episode, we celebrate Grade 6 students' accomplishments! In Part 1, Grade 6 students share some six-word memoirs showcasing their perception of this not-quite-typical school year. In Part 2, we listen to students discuss what they did and what they liked during their class trip to Trois-Rivieres. Enjoy!

Classroom Confessions - April 2021

In this month's episode, we highlight a certain teacher's accomplishments and how we feel about her. Grade 6 gives their classroom confessions on how they feel regarding going to secondary school. We introduce the song, "Mary'll Dunk On Ya" which is becoming a cult classic (you can already hear students humming it up and down the halls)! Cycle 3 students give advice to students who are going to Grade 5 or Grade 6 next year.

Valentine's Day - February 2021

In this Valentine's Day episode, students discuss what love actually is, and whether or not love at first sight even exists. We explore Grade 6 students' surprise for Mme Tremblay. Grade 2 students tell us many interesting facts about the Arctic and Antarctica. Grade 6 students engage in their very first formal debate, about whether or not Valentine's Day traditions should include friendship - which side do you think won?
