Our guest is artist, non-profit director, and community activist, David McCauley, currently based out of St. Petersburg, Florida's Art District.
Living with paralysis, David applies various adaptive mark-making techniques in the creation of his artwork while exploring topics of inclusion, universal design, accessibility, and the physical state of the human body. His work has been featured internationally in solo and group exhibitions, including through ArtLifting, an organization championing artists impacted by housing insecurity and disabilities.
McCauley is the founder of Laundromat Art Space in Miami and Rise Up Gallery, a non-profit providing art therapy workshops and exhibition space to the community.
