Rufus T. Firefly is named the dictator of bankrupt Freedonia and declares war on neighboring Sylvania over the love of his wealthy backer Mrs. Teasdale, contending with two inept spies who can't seem to keep straight which side they're on. What is "duck soup" exactly? Two turkeys, one goose, and four cabbages. What's the joke? How does this relate to the movie, DUCK SOUP? I don't know! And that's the ingenious thing about this movie and the Marx Brothers. Everything is just SO. CRAZYYYYYYYYY. So many jokes. So many QUICK jokes and moments and WTF moments and....and....AND IT'S INSANE! OK, I'll shut up now. Check out this classic film.
