Ephesians 4:30

[Verse 1 — The Question] Some say the Spirit is a force, God's power sent abroad; Some say He is no Person, just the presence sent from God. The word “Trinity” is not there—and this we know is true; So let us ask the Bible: Who is He? What does He do? No human creed or theory can define who He is; Let Scripture give the answer—let the evidence begin!

[Verse 2 — Bible and Bible Only] Some early Adventists viewed the Spirit differently; Some saw Him only as God's power, not One who speaks and wills. Some today repeat their words: “He is but Christ made near.” But neither church nor teacher stands above God's written Word. “The Bible and the Bible only”—there our faith must stand; Test every teaching by the Word, and follow God's command.
