Don't harden you heart!

After chapters of making excuses and challenging God's commands, Moses is finally ready to obey without question. With nothing but the staff in his hand, Moses and Aaron go before Pharaoh on behalf of God's people and perform a display of God's power. How will Pharaoh respond to this challenge to his authority?

This week we continue reading Exodus 7 and see the beginning of the showdown between the powers of this world and the power of God Almighty. We'll study how it was that the magicians of Egypt were able to copy the miracle of God and how the miracle of the staff becoming a snake was a challenge to the authority that Pharoah claimed over Egypt and over God's people. And then we'll learn how Pharoah's hard heart is a warning to us today to not harden our hearts to the work God is doing in our lives.
