How do you live after an encounter with the Living God?

Moses had a personal encounter with the living God as God sent Moses to lead the children of Israel from their bondage in Egypt. But when Moses comes down from the mountain, away from the glow of the burning bush, and back into his everyday life with his work and family responsibilities, how will Moses find a balance between his personal responsibilities and his call of ministry?

This week we finish reading Exodus 4 and see Moses take his first steps of obedience to follow God's call. We'll study both the good ways he honored his father-in-law, and the way God dealt with the compromise in Moses' family life. Then we'll read the reunion of Moses and Aaron and learn how the story of Exodus continues to be a foreshadow of the salvation that is found in Jesus Christ.
