In this episode, I have the opportunity to have a long conversation with Greg, someone who I immediately connected with, a few years ago, during our first conversation. Our conversations have ranged from speculative fiction based thought experiments to biomedical trends in government policy.

In this particular conversation, we start out on "Infinite Tangents" but eventually move into deeply personal experiences with exploring cognitive dissonance related to growing up in, and leaving, the LDS (Mormon) church. We get fairly vulnerable but it was good to explore our own experiences and dig out some uncomfortable personal details. It was also interesting to do it in an open and honest manner that was more about parsing out our own thoughts and emotions rather than breaking down Mormon beliefs.
