My guest on today's episode is Cindy Creech. She talks about a female's perspective growing up in Eastern Kentucky, realizing her sexual orientation, finding recovery, and learning how to "just be". She talks about the difficulty in all of those things and navigating them in Eastern Kentucky, and how that can feel different or difficult.
I spoke with Larry Sharpe on this episode. He's what I call a, "Come To'er". Someone that is not from Eastern KY, but somehow found his way to this area. People where I'm from know all too well about the leavers, the stayers, and the come backers, but what about the come to'ers? So I sat down with Larry to listen about how a fella from the Louisville area, full of jobs and urban opportunities, found himself in Pike Co. KY and why he has stayed.
