All men want in life is one thing: respect (Ephesians 5). And many try to earn it in all of the wrong ways. By conforming to those around them, trying to look cool, trying to fit in, and trying to please the people they’re around. But similar to Jesus principle of the upside down kingdom, earning respect as a man is the opposite: We do not strive for respect, we strive to please God (Galatians 1:10) and then respect naturally happens.
