Wyoming took Boise State down to the wire, but Ashton Jeanty, once again, carried his team to victory and the right to host the conference championship. On the flip side, Colorado State stumbled for the first time in Mountain West play, falling on the road to Fresno State. This now opens the door for UNLV, who handled San Jose State in rainy conditions to put the Rebels on the doorstep of a rematch with the Broncos.
