Subject 2B - Hell Week and Mitrice Richardson
Subject 2B was arrested on September 6th, 2020 in South Central, while attempting to attend a protest for Dijon Kizzee. We also take a look back at the case of Mitrice Richardson, 24 who went missing in 2009. There are some disturbing similarities to the testimony of our SA victim and the Richardson case. This episode includes descriptions of death, alleged police violence and sexual assault.Subject 1C was protesting in downtown Los Angeles on August 26th 2020, in response to the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha Wisconsin on August 23, 2020. Welcome to Hidden Cases. An audio series highlighting alleged sexual miscount and sexual assault by law enforcement through first hand accounts of their victims. Subject 1A - Wi Spa On June 24th 2021, the popular LA Korean spa, Wi Spa went viral after they defended an alleged trans client when at least two women from the spa yelled transphobic rhetoric at the Wi Spa staff. There are a series of videos of the event with thousands of views on the Instagram account @cubanaangel Right wing groups planned to protest the spa, advertising it as the “Wi Spa Anti-Pedo Protest,” on flyers. Counter protestors advocating for trans rights planned their own protest, with “Smash Transphobia, Smash Fascism” on their flyers. July 3rd was the first day of protesting. July 17th was the second protest with the same groups. Subject 1A was counter protesting for trans rights on July 17th. The following is my interview with Subject 1A, this includes descriptions of alleged police violence and sexual assault.We have an update this week!
