The adventure begins, meet our heroes as they undertake their first quest involving a noble lady, a wandering wizard and a vile concoction known as a Potion of Ugliness. Will the party be able to figure out what happened and bring the culprit to justice?
Croak’s sister is going to give birth soon, Croak requests that Van-Healsing accompany him to the village so that the birth may be blessed by a cleric. After Van-Healsing refuses Croak heads off without him and soon after a turn of events leads the party onto a perilous mission.
A mysterious murder draws the party back into the village of Burnshire, and afterwards upon their return to Shirebrook Malakai finds quite a scene at his house the consequences of which lead the party to partaking in a sly scheme.
The town of Shirebrook is in peril, the consequences of the party’s actions catch up with them and so they decide to make a quick exit, though this only leads to further tragedy.
The party fights for their survival using cunning methods, later on Croak’s greed gets them involved in some more nasty business.
The party investigates the aftermath of their latest ordeal some more and then sets off on a new quest to rid the land of villains, bandits and evildoers.
Our heroes arrive in the town of Redport and soon start investigating further into who or what might have caused Malakai’s father to fall ill.
Van and Croak are having some innocent fun in the “Hobgoblins Head” while Malakai is out and about fraternizing with a local wizard. Eventually many differing leads and motivations set the party on a path to the village of Ratsburg where a strange turn of events takes place.
Croak and Malakai plot and scheme on how to best investigate Boren and his shop, with a lot of sneaking about and following people. Meanwhile Van gets the lay of the land regarding nearby threats, in the process he hears of some people who have gone missing on the road, later he brings this information to the party and they set off.
The party investigates the disappearances near Hillsborough, they hear tales of a tax wagon also disappearing around the same area. They have an encounter with some of the local fauna and later a bit of dwarf related shenanigans ensues.
