Advent means coming and has a strong note of preparation. Light is often used as an
image that is breaking in amidst the darkness. This Advent we will work through Isaiah, with
the four common themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. Our Hope is represented by
Isaiah’s vision of a time that is coming, a time very different from his present day struggle.
Our scripture can be found in Isaiah 2: 1-5
