GOTUS 101: Olmsted v Pierce

The GOTUS by Michael Makar

Episode notes

Did you know Franklin Pierce was once the President Of The United States? There's plenty of good reasons to forget him, though he helped contribute to the widening divide of the mid-19th century US. But one of his contemporaries was busy building the country up in multiple ways - and you are almost certainly familiar with his work firsthand!

Today, we're discussing how Frederick Law Olmsted is far cooler than Franklin Pierce (which is not a very high bar, but Olmsted was very cool).
