Why did Jesus speak in parables instead of simply making everything clear? In Matthew 13:10–17, Jesus shows us that his parables reveal more than stories—they reveal the nature of his kingdom and the hearts of those who hear. His kingdom has defined citizens, is marked by repentance and faith, and is already here with something even greater still to come.
