Legendborn was a strong story with a great main character and so much potential but this second book fell flat and had us disappointed! Like bro, what even was that?! Every chapter had Bre in some instance of peril or arguing over absolutely everything with Sel. Lets give a round of applause to William and Alice, the two characters who really carried the team (literally who else was going to piece everyone back together after every fucking attack, ambush, or battle??? or was the literal definition of a ride or die bestie to Bre???) and made this story worth getting through!
