Heading To The (State) Capital || The Power Of Our Voices || Positive Change For All

Today I head down to Annapolis, the state capital of Maryland, to speak with representatives about issues that affect blind individuals. I get to observe a longstanding process with experienced advocates as we speak with state Senators and delegates about several bills and issues that are important and relevant today. By getting a glimpse into local politics and how advocacy conversations proceed I hope to gain some insights into the power of our voices in our democracy. Enjoy! After arriving in New York, I encountered an issue with my preferred rideshare service (Uber) and some awkwardness with the readily available alternative (yellow cabs).
