Monmouth University's Trey Dombroski is a fantastic New Jersey baseball story. One of the best pitchers in NJ throughout his HS career, Dombroski took a chance by going up to the vaunted Cape Cod League on a temporary contract -- and won the league's Pitcher of the Year Award, going 3-0 during the season with a 0.85 ERA and 45-2 K/W ratio. He elevated his draft status into the Top 10 rounds and can go even higher with a big fall back on campus. Now up to 94 with his fastball, the LHP with the advanced feel for pitching is still the same kid he was growing up at the Shore and talks to us about his incredible Cape experience, draft goals, how he keeps it all in perspective, and the potential for a 2022 to remember at Monmouth.
