Holy fuck, movies are back, baby! Get to the theater and buy a ridiculous collectable popcorn bucket, because we're gonna talk all about the other movies we've been seeing this summer!
It's certainly a movie, and we all saw it! None of us thought it was bad, per se? And there are definitely some godless topics to discuss from the movie, as well. Is it a Spielberg masterpiece? No, but the score is by John Williams, so it's got that going for it. We obviously spoil this one, but if you've seen the trailer you basically already know everything in store for you.
HOLY SHIT IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN! Or, it will be soon, at least. Hopefully we'll see some of your geeks in Minneapolis this July 4th weekend for some nerdy fun! We'll be there for the podcast's birthday, to record a live episode at our panel, and a whole bunch of other performances and places to check us out! We talk all about what's ahead at #CVG2026!
I hope you like sheep puns and adorableness, because that's what you're getting with this one. I think we were all a bit surprised by some of the religious/atheist themes or observations in this one, even with Molly having read the source material (Three Bags Full). What did you think? This week we have our friend Michael Sturm join us to talk about how we navigate the concept of a post truth society. Of course part of what we discuss has to do with AI that stands in for reality but we also consider the concept of an administration that lies so often and so easily, does it matter if we tell the truth to counter it? Does the truth even matter any more? Hard questions get asked and not many get answered! But we do ask Michael our five questions and those definitely DO get answered!

We know that we can't spend 100% of our time fighting fascism so we are going to let ourselves be geeks for a little bit and talk about what media is scheduled to come out in 2026 that can keep all of us distracted for a little while. Then we'll pick up our signs and get back to it!
This week we are talking about the continuing occupation of Minnesota by ICE agents. We don't know what you've read or seen but we are talking about first hand experiences as we are in the middle of it here. While we recorded this episode a little while ago, we want you all to know it is still happening and our friends and neighbors continue to be targeted. Fuck ICE.
