In this episode, my friend Danny Donovan and I discuss what true joy is and how only God can satisfy our hungry hearts. Then we hear Danny's beautiful vocation story and how he met his fiancee, Alli Sommer. Danny's story serves to remind us to be joyful no matter our confusion in the discernment process or wherever God is currently calling us. Advent has begun! To get into the spirit of waiting for Jesus's birth, Conal and I discuss the virtue of patience and how humility, acceptance of God's will, and self renunciation are necessary for practicing this virtue.
