Fighting Against Radical Teacher Unions for Education Reform

Frontier Freedom Hour by Jeff Hunt

Episode notes

Rebecca Friedrichs joins Jeff Hunt on the Frontier Freedom Hour to discuss her landmark SCOTUS case, Friedrichs vs. California Teachers Association. As a 28-year public school teacher, Friedrichs fought against forced unionism and the divisive tactics of state and national teachers unions. The case aimed to stop the mandatory payment of union dues, make union membership opt-in rather than opt-out, and end the taxpayer funding of union dues. Although the case initially resulted in a tie, it eventually led to a victory in 2018, ensuring that no public employee in the United States is forced to pay union dues. Friedrichs encourages others to join the fight to liberate teachers and educate them about the corrupt nature of these unions.
