I Don't Understand (And That's Okay)
From Guilt to Grace by Andy Choate
Episode notes
You don’t have to understand everything in order to trust God.
In this episode of Guilt to Grace, we talk about the pressure to have an answer for every difficult question about Scripture, suffering, and the ways of God. When uncertainty begins to shake your faith, it can feel like doubt is winning—but faith was never meant to rest on having everything figured out.
Proverbs 3:5 reminds us to trust in the Lord instead of leaning entirely on our own understanding. It’s okay to say, “I don’t know.” Your foundation isn’t built on your ability to explain God—it’s built on God Himself. The questions may come, and the storms may shake you, but you can still say, “I don’t understand, and that’s okay—because I trust Him.”
