Genesis 11:1-9

I. Human Arrogance (vv. 1–4)

a. They reject God’s command.

b. They seek autonomy.

c. They pursue glory instead of God’s glory.

II. Heaven’s Awareness (v. 5)

a. The LORD comes down.

III. Heaven’s Reversal (vv. 6–9)

a. God overturns human rebellion.

b. God gives them exactly what they feared.

c. Unity was the problem—not the solution.

d. God's judgment is also an act of mercy.
