Feel, Learn, Grow

Season 1
The Importance of Saying Nothing
Sometimes the most important thing we can do is to say nothing. In this episode, we explore the art of holding back our impulse to fix, judge, explain, or react — and why the choice to say nothing can be one of the most loving acts we can offer. We explore the cost of speaking on emotional urges, the power of letting someone feel without interruption, and how presence heals as well as the most well-intentioned advice. I share a personal story of learning the importance of saying nothing, and how to speak from love rather than judgment. A simple episode with a big message: sometimes the right words begin with saying nothing.
Remembering Our Need For Fun And Play
Life becomes too serious when we forget to have fun and play. In this episode, we explore the role of fun and play in adult life — not as “childish” distractions, but as essential parts of being human. Somewhere along our way, many of us lose touch with our fun and playful side. Responsibilities, expectations, pressure, trauma and habits slowly take over. In trying to cope, manage, fit in and succeed, we forget to laugh, play, have fun — and let our inner child breathe. Here I share why fun and play matter, how and why we drift away from them, and how we can bring them back into our lives again. I also share a personal story of when I lost my own sense of play — and what helped me reconnect with it. This episode is a call to return to your fun and playful side, not to escape life, but to truly LIVE it.
Caring What People Think
In this episode of Feel, Learn, Grow, we explore a universal challenge - caring what people think of us: why we care, whether we should care, and how it affects our authenticity, confidence, and ability to live well. Caring what people think is natural. But when fear of judgment or rejection takes over, we lose our voice, suppress who we are, and shape ourselves to fit in rather than stand out. Through reflection and a personal story from the pandemic, this episode explores how to balance caring enough without over-caring — so you can stay true to who you are, no matter what people think of you. If you’re ready to express yourself more freely and stop letting fear of judgment shape your life, this episode is for you.
When You Can't Get On With It
We’ve all heard the phrase “get on with it” and “keep calm and carry on”, but what happens when feel you can’t? In this episode of the Feel, Learn, Grow Podcast, I explore both the upside and hidden danger of this common advice, why forcing ourselves to “get on with it” can backfire, and how reframing it can help us to feel, learn and grow more effectively. If you’ve ever been told to just “get on with it”, this one’s for you.
The Purpose of Pain
Pain is often seen as the enemy — something to fight, numb, or avoid. But what if pain is actually a friend, a guide trying to help us live more fully? With over 15 years of experience helping people overcome pain, I explore the PURPOSE OF PAIN, sharing personal stories and practical insights on how even the hardest pain can teach, guide and help us grow. Learn how to shift your relationship with pain and make it a powerful ally that helps you to LIVE more.
Grieving Change
Change is part of life — but even the changes we know are right can leave us grieving what we’ve lost in the process. In this first episode, I share my recent personal story of saying goodbye to seven years of “Daddy Mondays” with my kids and the grief of change that came with it. Together we’ll explore why change can hurt, what it has to teach us, and how feeling, learning and growing from it can help us to LIVE more fully.
