Sometimes we may look at the 10th Commandment and think, “What is this doing here in a list with idolatry and murder and adultery and all the other commandments?” However, when we rightly understand this commandment and we see the problem of coveting throughout scripture, we realize that coveting is a serious sin before God and may break the other commandments at the same time.
