Episode notes
Most HR professionals don't set out to make poor Total Rewards decisions.
In fact, many organizations have talented HR teams, access to market data,
experienced managers, and well-intentioned leaders. Yet compensation, benefits,
recognition, and career-related decisions still create frustration, inconsistency,
and employee distrust.
Why?
Because most Total Rewards decisions fail long before the decision is made.
After years of working in compensation and benefits, I've found that the problem is
rarely a lack of information. The real issue is the absence of a structured decision-
making process.
