I finally get to sit down with one my favorite athletes, Claire Avery. Claire is the perfect example of "don't judge a book by its cover". One of the strongest women at her age, Claire is humble but confident. Claire enters her junior year ranked 4th in the state and has her sights set on #1 this year. Win or lose her matches are some of the most exciting you'll see.
Elegant Violence S1E10: Cheyenne Pryke
Cheyenne enters her senior year with massive gains. Motivated by her by 7th place State ranking last year, Cheyenne joined Grindhouse Wrestling Club and gained a huge amount of muscle over the summer. We talk about how she handled losses, what motivated her to get so athletically big and her college process. Cheyenne will definitely be an exciting athlete to follow this year.

Taylor Colangelo started her combat sports career early at age 6. Tae-Kwon-Do, Karate, Brazilian Jujitsu, kickboxing, Judo and wrestling by the age of 10 and 13 years-old becomes a National Judo Champion. Now, only 16 she is a 2x Freestyle State Champion and 25th in the Nation at USA wrestling. We talk about her entire career and what motivates her to be a truly elite athlete.

Ashley Ikner is a Nationally Ranked All-American Wrestler and alumni from the University of the Cumberland's. After beginning her career in the business world, she was motivated back to combat sports after coaching the Barry Goldwater High School Wrestling Team. We had an amazing conversation about her entire wrestling career and her entrance in professional fighting.
Elegant Violence S1E7: Bella Bocanegra
Bella Bocanegra, ranked #17 in the USA at 100lbs, 2x Back-to-Back State Champion, is wrestling phenom. Bella entered combat sports as a true novice and within 2 years, she has not only thrived, but dominated her weight class. 2 undefeated seasons in high school and nationally ranked in freestyle, she comes into this year hardened and skilled. With college on the horizon we talk about how she planning for the future plans for academics and sports.

Bree finished the high school phase of her career 76-3; not just a superior athlete but a near perfect student as well.
