Her work includes program evaluation methods, topics related to hunger, obesity, school food, supermarket access, and food insecurity. Dr. Valerie Earnshaw is an associate professor at the University of Delaware. Her work focuses on addressing associations between stigma and health inequities across the lifespan, particularly how stigma undermines health outcomes and what moderates these relationships.
