In Malachi’s day the priesthood was broken, polluted offerings were broken, place of worship was broken, everything seemed to be broken. It would appear that God’s plan had failed and all was broken, but looking forward to Christ we find God’s original plan: Jesus, the perfect priest, Jesus the perfect offering, and Jesus, the temple Himself.
