Revelation 20 is perhaps the most debated passage of this whole book, even among fellow Christians or Reformed Christians. The issues at hand here are not ones to divide over completely; we should hold our interpretations with humility, recognising that some of these things are difficult to understand. Here we interpret the one thousand years as symbolic of the time between the first and second comings of the Lord Jesus. It is the gospel age, when the Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, has been commanded to preach the good news to all the nations - and then the end will come.
