In Part 1, we talked about why relationship roles shouldn't automatically be assigned based on gender and introduced the CWRF framework — Capacity, Willingness, Reciprocity and Flexibility.

This time, Dam and Oyindamola take the conversation further.

We look at some of the less obvious ways people end up with particular roles in relationships. Sometimes it's because one person is more competent. Sometimes it's because one person can tolerate the responsibility better. And sometimes, people simply inherit expectations from their parents, culture or society without ever discussing them with their partner.
