Mateo Gonzalez served in the U.S. Navy before turning a random introduction to Scalp Micropigmentation into a full-blown career and business.

After growing up in Fresno, California and serving in the Navy, Mateo eventually found SMP through a friend. What started as curiosity quickly turned into an obsession, and he went all in on learning the craft and building something of his own.

He originally built his business out in San Diego, but recently made a big move to Boise, Idaho, chasing growth and a new environment. Instead of playing it safe, he opened a second location while still running his San Diego shop, going back and forth and expanding his reach.
