Tonight I'm going to take you through my journey as an over-the-road truck driver and trainer and why I became a Correctional Officer. I'm also going to tell you about why I am so in favor of Medical Cannabis. I know what it's like to writhe in pain and have no hope. I know what it's like to be hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt because of medical bills. My story resonates with a lot of people. Many say they know someone that has been through the same thing. Worker's compensation and forced surgery. Failed back surgery. Prescriptions. Waiting. Surgery. Pain. Pharmaceutical companies and the hold they have. Insurance companies making the decisions about your medical care instead of doctors. It's time that we the people had other options. It's time that we make our voices heard.
