Context Rules

Perhaps you've read or heard something you weren't sure the Bible actually says. After closer study, you realize God didn't say that at all. That's what we mean when we ask the question, Did God Say That? When we say context rules, we mean our opinions, thoughts, or feelings never override God's Word. I know we often read the Bible as if it's a personal letter written just to us. It wasn't. I love that all Scripture is written for us, even if it's not all written to us.
