Episode 1: The Pilot
This is our first recorded call, and it’s exactly what Dial Tone is built on. Two friends, no script, no agenda, and no effort to steer the conversation in a safe direction.
We hit record and let the conversation go where it always does. Camper life, the realities of living without a normal bathroom, uncomfortable logistics nobody ever asks about, and the kind of questions that only come up when you’ve known someone long enough to say anything out loud. It’s ridiculous, specific, and unexpectedly thoughtful at times.
This isn’t a polished introduction and it’s not meant to be. It’s a real pilot. Messy, honest, and a clear snapshot of the kind of conversations this show lives in. Long tangents, strange curiosity, and moments where you forget you’re even recording.
