You, Your Friends, and Your Enemies

“Every place is our place; everyone is our kin; evil does not come from others.”
Yet there is one person we often overlook: ourselves.
You are the most important person in your life. You are your own best friend. You can also be your own worst enemy.
The same mind that encourages you can also convince you that you cannot. It can recognise opportunity, but also manufacture excuses and rationalise mistakes.
Perhaps the most difficult person to know honestly is oneself.
Ancient wisdom tells us:
