Sylvia Likens was a regular American girl living in Indiana in the 1960s. She had a big family with many siblings and was used to traveling a lot with them due to her parent's occupation. 16 at the time she endured some of the most horrendous attacks we have ever heard about, by the Baniszewski family - that at first took Sylvia and her sister Jenny in as a favor to their father. The Likens family would soon come to regret this decision that left the family in shambles due to the traumatic events that occurred between July through October in 1965.
