On July 29, 2015, a worker in the French territory of Réunion Island discovered MH370’s flaperon, the first confirmed piece of wreckage from the missing plane. It seemed like case closed, that the doomed plane crashed near the seventh arc in the Indian Ocean. But not everything added up.
