Welcome to today's episode where we're going to talk about DressCode Project. DressCode Project is a not-for-profit organization that aims to create safer spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in hair salons and barbershops. The organization was founded in 2017 by Kristin Rankin, a hairstylist from Toronto, Canada. DressCode Project works with salons and barbershops to provide education and training on LGBTQ2S+ issues and create inclusive environments for all individuals regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. This includes training on appropriate language, respectful communication, and understanding the unique needs of 2SLGBTQ+ clients.
